NBC News Senior Political Editor, Mark Murray, joins the podcast to discuss NBC’s new poll, focusing on Americans’ opinions of the nature of social media. Many Americans consider social media to be divisive, but it may surprise you which political party is more likely to have this opinion. Then, we take a look at the media outlets Americans perceive to be mainstream, compliments of a new Pew Research Center Poll.

Turns out, many Americans use social media and agree that it can be divisive. Which groups believe that social media divides us the most? We dig into the details.

Then, we take a look at a recent Pew Research Center poll about mainstream media. What’s that?! Spoiler alert, there’s consensus about which media outlets are mainstream, even if they don’t watch them.
